I went to Fun Cinemas in DD mall last weekend. My experience there was pretty good, but it’s more fun when you are with your friends.
About DD Mall
Dindayal City Mall, centrally situated on Maharani Laxmi Bai Road in Gwalior. It is for those who adore high-end luxury malls. The mall represents the progress of the city, and it houses many worldwide brands.
The Dindayal City Mall is a great mixture of modern architecture and the most recent rainwater harvesting technology for fountains and a waterfall, giving the mall a unique identity. This mall, which has become a landmark in the city, was built by the ARG Group in Jaipur and is promoted by the DD (Dindayal) Group.
It is a popular hangout spot, especially among teenagers. DD Mall has over 150 outlets, including showrooms, restaurants, bazaars, and so on. These stores include naming a few, Lee Cooper, Spykar, Reebok, Provogue, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s, and others.

With a built-up area of 214000 sq. ft. The underground floor consists of the beautiful and colourful City Bazar, which includes various jewellery, art, and artifact showrooms. The ground and first floors are dedicated to fashion and lifestyle products, while the second floor houses a four-screen fun Multiplex.
On the second floor, there are plans to build a wellness centre and a spa. There is already a gym and a slimming centre. The third floor features a fun combination of food and entertainment, including a grand food court that serves delicious meals, fine dining restaurants that host birthday celebrations and kitty parties, and a gaming arcade.

In this blog, I will describe my overall experience at the Fun Cinemas in DD Mall Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
My Visit To Fun Cinemas, DD Mall, Gwalior
I live in Gwalior, and Fun Cinemas is the city’s largest cinema hall. I’ve seen many films at the Cinepolis Fun theatre. I recently saw Brahmastra in this theatre, and it was fantastic.
The sound and video quality in this theatre hall are both excellent.
In terms of the cinema, seeing a movie there was a fantastic experience.
The sound was incredible, powerful, and pleasing to the ears. The screen, on the other hand, is not particularly large, but it is visible. The image quality, on the other hand, is excellent. The seats are in good shape, spacious, comfortable for a normal-sized person and also well positioned in order to have the perfect view of the screen, and the hall is pretty clean.
The only disadvantage is that movie tickets are now more expensive.
There is no need to rush because the fun cinema has four screens.
Overall, my experience was positive, and I would recommend that anyone from Gwalior or the surrounding areas visit and enjoy the movie theatre.
There were no long lines to get into the Fun Cinemas. Furthermore, their employees are fully vaccinated and take all necessary precautions against the Covid-19 virus. A pleasant experience is having safe and quick access to the multiplex.
However, most visitors now reserve their tickets to avoid long lines at the ticket office. However, if you are going to see a movie at Fun Cinemas, I recommend that you make a reservation.
This is because you can’t just buy movie tickets at the check-in counter; you must also buy something to eat. After you have purchased something to eat, the staff will reserve your seats.
Employees at Fun Cinemas are usually friendly, but in the theatre, they approach you several times and force you to buy something to eat. They recommend that you buy something out of guilt or nervousness in front of your friends, mates, or lover, especially if you are in a couple.
Fun Cinemas’ management should avoid this at all costs. Furthermore, as is typical of all multiplexes, their prices are fairly high. The food at Fun Cinemas is of high quality. Overall, it is the second best place in Gwalior to see movies, though Fun Cinemas is the best for couples.
My Personal Suggestion For You…
If you are with your partner or family then after the movie you should eat somewhere else instead of the theatre’s costly food and also it’s not so good.

- employee’s approach (Insisting on buying eatables)
- high prices of tickets.
- Food is quite expensive
- Lacks Recliners
How To Reach City Mall?
The mall is conveniently located on Maharani Laxmi Bai Road, near the railway station and bus stop. It is accessible by auto rickshaw or taxi from anywhere in the city.
Fun Cinemas is quite simple to find because it is in the city’s most prominent attraction, DD Mall. It’s located on the second floor of the DD Mall, with the ticket office on the ground floor.
