About The Fort
Both Bundela and Maratha architectural components were used in the construction of this castle. It features walls made of granite that are about 20 feet thick. There is a wall separating the stronghold from the city on its southern end.

My Experience About Jhansi Fort
My day started with a beautiful morning on the train from Delhi to Jhansi with a few friends and my family. There were a lot of people which made the trip more fun and exciting. After reaching the airport we all booked a hotel nearby so that everything is accessible and we can get cabs or autos easily. We all reached at night and planned to visit the fort the next day with all the other incredible places.
We had a great day touring the fort in Jhansi. It is conveniently reachable by car, and the entire fort can be toured on foot. For Rs. 300, we were able to engage a guide who helped us by outlining the fort’s most crucial features and their historical importance in India. In 1857, the Jhansi fort was at the epicentre of India’s first fight of independence. It’s a fantastic experience to stroll the same ramparts that have seen many terrible conflicts. And walking the paths formerly walked by its mythical queen (Rani Lakshmibai) was the icing on the cake. Overall, it may be visited thoroughly in 2-3 hours. The view of the city from the Ramparts is likewise spectacular.
My overall experience at Jhansi Fort was incredible and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend everyone to go and visit these places, but most importantly one who is so new to this place should hire a travel guide to make your trip more fun.
