Khajuraho is a historic city famous for its majestic temples and complex paintings. The city is situated in the Madhya Pradesh district of Chattarpur and has captivating historical stories and architectural beauty. According to historical records, the Khajuraho temple site had 85 temples during the 12th century. Only 25 temples have survived in the passage of time, spanning across six square kilometres.

The wonderful thing about Khajuraho is that despite the fact that scores of slaves attempted to demolish the entire complex, they were never successful, even if they did manage to limit the number of temples and caves to 25 from a remarkable 85 at the time it was built.

My Experience At Khajuraho Temple!

In August 2022, I travelled to Khajuraho with my family. I Thank our guide, Mr Anurag Shrivastava, for making our trip so memorable. He is extremely excellent in history, culture, architecture, philosophy and language. He speaks Hindi and English with ease. As a history and cultural geek, I wholeheartedly endorse Mr Shrivastava. His phone number is 9926405057.

All people who respect art, history, ethics, and workmanship should visit Khajuraho. Only when you visit these 1000-year-old amazing sculptural temples in person do they justify their presence in the UNESCO World Heritage list. No amount of literature, images, or films can replace a real visit.

During our wonderful vacation, we learned a lot about the significance of the Bundelkhand and Vindhya ranges.

In short, my experience at Khajuraho temple was extremely great and amazing. I would recommend everyone to visit here with friends, family or your loved one’s.
